May we see you on the First - 1.5.23

The time is 11:24 and I am cooking some sweet chestnuts whilst I write, the day is gradually burning off the clinging fog in our valley bottom. Sunshine can be seen through gaps and blue sky patches.

We are really looking forward to this years walk which promises to be a sight to behold with blooming bluebells, bright blue skies and sunshine (she says hopefully and prayerfully).

It's not too early to be thinking about where you will park which churches to visit, what foods you enjoyed last year and shall you return or try food at a different one this time? Maybe think about your boots - do they need a dusting off? a repair? polish? or quite frankly lets get a new pair :-)

If you are new to this website - then let me WELCOME You. Photos and blogs await your time and describe what to expect and where the walk takes you. The full walk of 16 miles, which is clockwise this year, encompasses five churches around Kings wood. The suggested minimum donation per person is £5 but you can always give more if you wish and this goes to the church of your choice or to the Pilgrims hospice and or Kent Air Ambulance. It is a beautiful day out in the countryside, which includes access to land that is not usually open to the public.
