8th May Walk Cancelled due to Epidemic

In common to nearly every other event in the next few months, the Five Church Walk Committee has had no option other than to cancel this year's walk. Although the public footpaths like the North Downs Way will still be open (unlike the 2001 Walk which is the only other year cancelled, due to the cattle Foot & Mouth Disease) it is the close proximity of people in the five churches which creates a risk of getting infected by Covid-19. All being well the next walk will be on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2021, so watch this space!
