What a change of weather in just a week.

It was only a week ago I wrote about it not yet seeming like spring for publication in the May issue of Chilham Parish News , and now we are having the hottest April days in decades! This is not good walking weather, but I think these are freak conditions, and there's a good chance that 7th May will be somewhere in between. Being a countryside walk there is something to enjoy in all weathers that usually occur this time of year provided you are suitably dressed for what is forecast, but sensible walking shoes are essential. Do join it at any of the five churches on the day, but bear in mind that you'll need to make your own arrangements to get back to cars.
